Solution To Solving Crime
"Winnipeg is one of the most diverse & multi-cultural communities of which Kathy & I are happy to be a part of. As mayor, I pledge to be very responsive to the needs of all culture and all diversity that makes up the fabric of our great city." Don
Winnipeg is located in Treaty One Territory, the home and traditional lands of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe), Ininew (Cree), and Dakota peoples, and in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Our drinking water comes from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, in Treaty Three Territory.
Job opportunities in the City of Winnipeg have passed over indigenous qualified candidates for management positions for years. "This will end when I am mayor."

Dear Fellow Winnipegger,
As a proud business owner of JamRock Security here in Winnipeg, I see first hand the stress that crime is putting on us. In my first 100 days if you elect me your mayor, my priority is for our streets to be safe for all. I will find homes for the most vulnerable who are living on our streets in tents and bus shacks. My #1 goal is to make the citizens of Winnipeg feel safe on the bus, in their community, and taking part of attractions/festivities in our downtown.
As a strong advocate for youth sports and environmental issues, solving crime through sports is my vision.
We can end homelessness.
City Hall needs a high level of integrity throughout all its processes and departments. This is what I will bring to the table as Mayor of Winnipeg. Once a month, I will meet with the citizens of Winnipeg in a townhall format to hear your issues.
I look forward to hearing from you and possibly, even meeting you on the campaign trail.
Thank you for considering me,
Don
